Trying out some new fibers

I tried working with thick n thin handspun merino wool for the first time. It was wonderful. There is a good reason that this yarn is so much money. It is so soft and squishy and luxurious. I love the fact that I am supporting another small business by purchasing their handmade yarns and that my customers get a one of a kind item!These are some headbands I made with the left over yarn after making a beanie. These headbands rock because they grow with your child for a long time. These headbands fit newborns and will continue to fit until they are at least 3 years old. You really get your moneys worth.The only thing to watch out for is ripping. You wouldn't want to pull on these headbands too hard otherwise you will rip the yarn. If you take care of them they will last a long time! I will definitely be adding more of these to my store in different colors. Love this yarn!!

This is another tie back headband made with thick and thin merino wool. I added a beautiful bow made out of the same yarn for a girly touch. This headband would look amazing in photos!!!

How stinkin cute is this??!! This is a brand new design as of June 28 1012. This hat is just adorable! Perfect for baby boys, also works for girls too. This hat can be made lots of different color combinations. The puppy hat would be a great Halloween costume for a baby.

This picture shows the different styles of diaper covers that I can make. #1,3 and 4 work great for all ages. #1 works great for littles ones under 6 months old but I can make it up to size 12 months. Larger sizes past 12  months can be made for a fee. My favorite diaper cover is #1. One piece covers stay on the best! Either way, they are all adorable little covers for your baby's bum!

This is a photo of a headband in my store. Its nice and stretchy and girly! Large, pink flower. accent crochet leaves with a rhinestone button center. This looks great as a photo prop! Ive noticed that photographers use headbands alot in their photos. This would be great for a photographer or a gift to a photographer. Or what about for a little girl to wear to school or church. Or as a baby shower gift. Or for your baby girl to wear around. I can make this in many different colors!

JUNE 2012 UPDATE FROM K CROCHET DESIGNS

This is a project I had been working on for awhile for one of my photographers (Sweet P. Photography). She captured this amazing picture of the finished product! Big baby fringe hammock. This hammock can hold babies up to 8+ months. I recently added this beauty to my Etsy store.

The neckband is totally adjustable and will grow with your child for along time. The set makes just the cutest photo prop! The tie comes in three sizes.  Small medium and large. This one is a medium.
